A MEMOIR

Lauren Leonardi is a writer and New Yorker who lives and works globally. She's a professional gal, and her creative writing achievements are as follows. Her essay, Hashtag, It's the Quartz was published in a 2018 anthology about foreigners living abroad in Mexico. She was shortlisted for the 2019 Disquiet Literary Contest. She won second place in the 2017 non-fiction contest for the San Miguel Writer's Conference, and won first place in a Scrivner Short Fiction contest in the Erotica category.

 

Lauren is a gatherer of people, builder of community, and creator of ceremony and ritual. She considers storytelling to be her primary craft, and does her best to honor it as ancient medicine.
